Rooted in wisdom. Growing toward wholeness.
Culturally responsive therapy and supervision designed for individuals to be fully seen, heard, and supported.
In this space, we acknowledge that your current struggles are often the visible branches of much deeper, unseen roots. Trauma and culturally informed approaches is where healing begins with the "Why"—the context and understanding what happened to you, not what is wrong with you.
Acknowledging the deep-seated context of our lived experiences.
The blueprint of growth that exists within every ending.
"Show me your wounds and I will shine a light on the root cause."

Learn MoreMentorship without sponsorship can leave skilled and deserving minoritised employees stuck proving themselves without gaining access to opportunities. Sponsorship can open doors, but when it is primarily offered by people already in positions of dominance, it can reproduce the very hierarchies that the workplace claims to challenge. True equity happens at the intersection of mentorship, sponsorship, and structural change. It’s not enough to guide and prepare workers ,we must also redistribute power, confront bias, and create opportunities that don’t depend on permission from those who historically controlled access. Mentorship prepares you. Sponsorship positions you. Equity demands we shift who controls the door.

Simangaliso brings an empathetic, kind, and calm presence, creating a truly safe and warm space where supervisor and supervisee power dynamics are balanced, meaning that I could bring my whole authentic self. She has a way with words that makes you feel comfortable, safe and validated but at the same time she is able to lead with curiosity to help you reflect on your unconscious belief systems that could be holding you back and uncovering the ways internalised systems of power can shape how we show up in our mind, work and in the world"
"In a world that is built around, mostly caters and centres whiteness, it’s rare to find someone who I could talk to about race, power dynamics and how to navigate systems that are not made for people of colour without some discomfort. Simangaliso creates a rare and safe space for non-white practitioners to openly discuss whiteness, power dynamics and white supremacy, which are topics that are often unsafe or uncomfortable to explore in general but mostly in professional contexts. Her deep understanding of how race and ethnicity shape experiences allows for honest, validating, and ultimately liberating conversations. These conversations are insightful, important, and extremely powerful, as there are not many spaces where these can happen, thus it’s detrimental for people of colour to have at least one space where they can feel genuinely seen, heard and supported."
"Simangaliso uses a deeply informed decolonised lens, drawing on her extensive experience with multicultural communities and her ability to see the interconnectedness of systemic power, race, and language. She offered practical, holistic skills alongside thoughtful reflection, which helped me embed a decolonised practice into my work in a world that often does not value or recognise it. She has reminded me that I am not alone in these systems and has continually reinforced the importance and possibility of working in ways that centre a decolonial way of being."
"Simangaliso is a trailblazer; she is paving the road for the future of multicultural social workers and young people. She has a wealth of knowledge and she would add an immense amount of value to anyone who she supervises, but especially people of colour. Anyone who has the opportunity to be supervised by her will benefit from her abundance of knowledge, her ability to decolonise thinking and practice, and her innovative approach to social work with multicultural communities. Whether you want to challenge your own perspectives, deepen your understanding of systemic power, or make meaningful change in the lives of multicultural people, Simangaliso’s supervision will enrich both your professional journey and your personal growth while making you feel like you genuinely have someone cheering for your success."
"I want to take this opportunity to thank you for opening your doors and rendering your services to me at a point where I really needed it the most. What made it so much better was us having the same language. Ngiyabonga"
